Robert has expanded his practice to include a wide array of health care providers as clients. A significant percentage of these cases are based in federal court. Robert was part of the defense trial team that received a not guilty judgment in Cook County for its client, a neurosurgeon, who operated on the wrong level in the patient’s spine to remove a herniated disc. This is the first reported case in Cook County where a not guilty judgment was entered in favor of a surgeon who operated at the wrong level.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and has been involved in team sports all of his life. In 1987, he was a member of the baseball team that won the Illinois Babe Ruth State Baseball Championship. Robert remains active in team sports and enjoys playing softball, basketball, golf and tennis with his wife, Christine. He is a lifelong resident of the Chicago area.
